This is a densely tufted native perennial rush.  It has thin (2.5mm) hollow, greyish-green stems to 1.2m tall.  It is suitable for moist soils with seasonal flooding & will tolerate drying out in Summer.  It prefers full sun – semi-shade.  It is an excellent habitat plant for wet areas including pond & dam edges.
